Jacqueline Schoemaker Holmes, PhD is a recovering academic living in the postpartum haze called Motherhood. A survivor of both postpartum depression and postpartum anxiety, she is a UBC-trained Sociologist who specializes in the study and practice of empowerment at both the individual and the community level. Jacqueline is the creator of the Eating Her Young Blog (www.eatingheryoung.com) and founder of the Mummy Voices Facebook Group, a supportive, non-judgmental platform for moms, by moms.
