Vanessa Busetto is a dedicated mental health advocate with a strong passion for supporting youth mental health. Drawing from her own lived experience, she connects with others to offer peer support and empower those navigating mental health challenges. Vanessa is a graduate of the University of Toronto and Humber College, where she studied Sociology, Criminology, and Addictions and Mental Health.
Her professional background includes working in youth justice residential settings, community case management, and group facilitation. Through these experiences, she has honed her skills in team management, program research and development, and providing direct support to individuals on their mental health journeys. Vanessa’s commitment to fostering understanding and offering resources for mental well-being is central to her advocacy work.
