Community Champions are Unsinkable's community ambassadors for mental health, having shown tremendous commitment to mental health advocacy in their own right. Community Champions are demonstrated leaders of the mental health movement and work towards educating, connecting, and empowering people.

Selin Ozunaldim
Selin Özünaldım is a gender equality advocate, youth activist, and international speaker. She has worked with UN Women, UNICEF, and WAVE, amplifying young voices in decision-making spaces. Currently studying International Relations, she leads initiatives on gender advocacy, youth engagement, and STEM education.

Ryan Forsyth
Ryan Forsyth is an Award Winning Mental Health Speaker and Advocate, Promotions Coordinator for JUMP! 106.9 and boom 99.7 is Ottawa, Canadian Mental Health Association Speaker & Volunteer and Unsinkable Community Chamption.

Rafella Mancuso
Raffela Mancuso, Activist/Entrepreneur/Content Creator, Raffela is a mental health advocate, social entrepreneur, and ADHD champion dedicated to bridging gaps so no one faces challenges alone. She has partnered with CMHA, Yale University/CAMH, Frayme, Agenda Gap, YCRH, and various youth advisory councils to amplify marginalized voices. Currently, she’s in the early stages of launching Staya, a social enterprise ensuring everyone can access the right mental health resources at the right time.

Joshua Bell
Always active in his community, Joshua continues working to advocate to ensure a better life for everyone in his community with a main focus on mental health and suicide prevention. He currently sits on the National Advisory Councils of the Mood Disorders Society of Canada, National Initiative for Eating Disorders, and is a Community Champion with Unsinkable among many other things.

Liv Miller
Liv Miller, Youth Mental Health & Leadership Speaker. Liv Miller is a 23-year old mental health advocate and youth speaker who grounds lived experiences with mental health struggles and community advocacy in her approach to teaching young people about self-care and personal development. As the co-founder of a provincial-award winning mental health awareness initiative as seen on CTV News, CBC Radio and more, called Bridges of Hope, Liv's unique experiences empower young people from all backgrounds and experiences to make a difference in their lives and communities.

Athlete and advocate, Kenny M'Pindou is a Canadian bobsleigh athlete with his sights set on representing Canada at the 2026 Winter Olympics.

Dancia Susilo
Dancia Kendra Adhiguna Susilo is a humanitarian and social activist focused on policy development and public education. She has authored two books and is published with the British Psychological Society.

Nina Charley
Nina is a passionate activist and Community Champion for Unsinkable, fighting for Black liberation and mental health. With a powerful voice featured on panels, radio shows, and podcasts, she educates and inspires change. As Co-Chair of the Ottawa Black Diaspora Coalition, Nina drives transformative awareness and action in her community.

Jason Finucan
Jason Finucan / Founder, StigmaZero / Jason is a mental health advocate and professional speaker with 17 years dedicated to ending the stigma of mental illness. Jason is also an author, Founder of StigmaZero and the instructor of the Create Your StigmaZero Workplace online training program.

Afreina Noor is a Montreal-based storyteller, aspiring spoken word artist, improviser and poet of Pakistani origin with over 15 years of non-profit leadership experience spanning Asia, Africa, and North America.
