Make Your Life's Aim To Serve Humanity

Unsinkable Storytelling Author: Vasundhara Chaudhary

Greetings everyone!

I would like to start with the motto of my life "लोकाः समस्ताः सुखिनो भवन्तु॥"which means “May all beings everywhere be happy and free, and may the thoughts, words, and actions of my own life contribute in some way to that happiness and to that freedom for all.”

I am Vasundhara Chaudhary,16 year old, from Chandigarh, India.

I am pursuing my class 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Biology and I want to pursue a career in medicine and science.

I have always been a well rounded student from being part of cabinet to being the school topper in class 10 to participating in all co-curricular activities. I have a keen interest in writing, dancing, oratory, reading and painting and have made small achievements in all the fields mentioned.

When I was in 8th grade, I grew an interest in mental health and realized that people weren't as interested in this field and that there was stigma attached to it. I used to talk with my family and friends about it and they used to say “Depression and anxiety are just drama that people do and there is nothing as such.” But I knew that the world was suffering as I had read many articles in newspapers and magazines. Not only this, I myself have felt what anxiety feels like before my final performance or an exam or competition.

Spreading positivity and kindness was always my dream. I had been awarded the Selfless Service Award by my school. I am dumbstruck seeing the emotional and mental pain that people deal with. The lockdown gave me an opportunity to help, so in July 2020 I founded @inspire._.dose which deals with Mental Health, spirituality, Healthcare, life skills and more.

Now a days people are going away from spirituality which is the root for all problems and I want them to get back to it.

I want each and everyone out there to always be positive and keep their spirits high!

As my favorite quote shares, "Life is like a wave! Some times you are at the crest and sometimes at trough but whatever position you are at always believe in yourself and keep your spirits high!"

Thank you for reading my story, to finish I would love to share some principles that have helped me and I hope may help you.

✓Set your heart upon your work but never its reward.

✓Fear not. What is not real, never was and never will be.

✓What is real, always was and cannot be destroyed.

✓A man is made by his belief.

✓No one who does good work will ever come to a bad end, either here or in the world to come.

✓Do everything you have to do, but not with greed, not with ego, not with lust, not with envy but with love, compassion, humility, and devotion.

✓For one who has conquered his mind, a mind is best of friends, but for one who has failed to do so, a mind is the greatest enemy.

✓Whatever happened was good.

✓Change is the law of the world.
